Whats in the name?

Champion Gymnastics Academy was established by Kellie & Hideo Mizoguchi in the summer of 1996. For the first three years they were located in the Willowbrook area off FM 1960. In the fall of 1999, they relocated to a brand new 16,000 square foot facility in west Houston. Today they are in a terrific new facility at 2004 South Mason Rd., just south of Highland Knolls.

The Power Of Teamwork

Mizo and Kellie have put together a qualified staff dedicated to helping each young athlete attain his or her gymnastics objective, whatever their dream may be; international competition or simply to improve strength, flexibility and conditioning for other athletic pursuits. The gym offers programs for physical development for tiny tots and beginners to the rigorous artistry of an elite team.

Certified Coaches

• We make it mandatory that all of our coaches are first aid certified as well as CPR certified for infants, children and adults. Our team coaches are also safety certified through USA Gymnastics. Safety is our number one priority.
